NASCOM Cup Series Empty NASCOM Cup Series

Post by Tex85 on Sat Oct 23, 2010 4:40 pm

Effective Feb.1 2011 the NASCOM Cup series will become a Pay to Play Series. All other series will remain free to race.

Costs for NASCOM Cup series will include $5 Owner License Fee, this fee includes 1 car # for said team. Additional car numbers will be $2 each. Race entries will be $3 for each race and entries will be sold in a 5 race package minimum. You may choose the 5 race option or you can choose the whole season option but these will be the only two options for race entry.

Race winning prizes may or may not be available. I will try my best to secure Prizes for races for at least the top 3 drivers. BUT there will be a sizeable Purse for the top 5 drivers in championship points at the end of the season. Hopefully this gives owners and drivers more incentive to run the whole season.

All entry fees, owner fees, and car number fees will go towards Server rental, RPM, Broadcasts, and Championship Purses. So the more we have sign up and race the larger the Championship fund will be.

NASCOM Cup series will follow the NASCAR Sprint Cup Schedule and will have a 10 Race Chase. Championship Purse will be availible to Top 5 in championship and Smaller purse hopefully will be availible to 13th place for not making the chase. If no purse is availible I will try to procure prize for 13th place or top driver not making the chase.

Guys Only reason for this major change is to try to make NASCOM more self-sufficient and to offset costs for Server rental, RPM, Website, etc.
