2010 Schedule

The official 2010 SSG Cup Series has been posted to RPM. Note that the schedule correctly follows the 2010 NASCAR schedule. In place of the NASCAR off-weeks I have scheduled OPEN TESTS at the next weeks track. For these "test sessions" we will run a 35% race for no points.

Since there is NO scheduled NASCAR NWS race for Allstar Week The Monday Preceeding the All Star Race will be the LIVE PIT CREW CHALLENGE. This will take place at Lowes Revamped Allstar track. How this will work is we will run a 1 hour practice session then cover the RULES FOR THE CHALENGE.

RULES FOR THE CHALLENGE are as follows.....All times will be run in Happy Hour session.everyone that shows up will be called up one at a time in no particular order. Drivers will then enter the track and procede to the end of pit road and come to a complete stop. You will then be cleared to Enter Track. At this time Driver will run 2 full laps and then enter Pit Road at pit speed and run a 4 tire pit stop. then exit pits maintaining pit speed until cleared to enter track by spotter. Driver will then complete current lap and exit track. Please watch you Pit Time as we will need this to Issue Fastest Pit Crew Award.

All Star Showdown and Race. since we haven't had a cup series for a couple seasons we will be going by points. We'll take the top 2 Fords, Chevys, Dodges, and Toyotas from the current points standings at the time. These 8 cars will transfer immediately to the All Star Race. All Others are left to compete in the All Star Showdown from which we will take the Top 5 finishers and they will transfer to the All Star Race.

I couldnt find the schedule in RPM, and also, what night will this be run on? Seeings how were following the real schedule, I assume there is going to be one night, not every other week? And one more thing, whats the criteria to be able to race in the cup series (if any)? See you all on the track!

how about the nationwide winners from 2009 do the auto transfer?

Cup series at this point is going to be Open just remember though NASCOM admin reserve the right to move any driver at anytime into the approriate series
